If there were ever a time to miss New York, it’s the fall. It’s the most fleeting of seasons but it’s the most beautiful by far. Everyone pulls out their boots and sweaters, things get cozy; the colors, the textures, the light, there’s still a little warmth, and when the sun shines- it’s magic. I’m actually smiling thinking about it; how perfect a walk down the streets of New York in the fall can be. When the summer heat fades and I’m not sweating walking up and down all the subway stairs. It was nice going out in the fall with my hair down, with my hat on. My witch hat he called it. Yea New York in the fall is pretty great from what I remember. And the food in the fall- ugh so good. The flavors of fall are so satisfying. Fall here is beautiful, don’t get me wrong. But New York in the fall is something special. It’s the time to fall in love with New York and a great time to fall in love in New York but I still don’t miss living in New York.
